This works pretty good for regular dark hairs that you want bleached. It does sting a little and doesn't smell great, but it works, and that's what matters. The powder part that you have to mix in isn't in the best bottle, it's very easy to accidently spill it, so be careful. Also, if you have very dark course hair, it can take a few bleachings to get it light.

I have been using this for almost 50 years and it is still great for bleaching facial hair that grows in dark. because I am a brunette. hair is not course, but dark.

Ladies, this product is great. I was very skeptical of putting chemicals on my skin because I have very sensitive skin, but this product is gentle.
I have fair, ivory skin and dark brown hair. I used this product to bleach my arms. When doing the test patch, I noticed it appeared to lighten my skin. No worries. This faded within a couple of hours and it was back to normal.
I proceeded to wash my arms with cold water and soap, and then bleach my entire arms and it worked very well. Some uncomfortable tingling was happening, but what do you expect from bleach?
Overall this is a very good, fast, and effective product for bleaching unwanted hair. Works great on delicate skin.
My only advice is to use before bed, so any slight irritation of the skin will fade.

Hi! I have naturally dark brown hair that I dye blonde. I also have naturally dark brown eyebrows. I do NOT like the contrast of the dark eyebrows and light hair. It looks fake and I honestly believe the dark eyebrows make my face appear older. So, every 4 to 6 weeks when I color my hair...I lighten my eyebrows with this amazing product!!! And so far...nobody believes I'm a bleach blond!!!
How I do it...I make sure I begin with a clean, dry face, and my hair pulled from my face. When I say a clean face, I mean freshly cleansed with no makeup, no moisturizers, no primers, just pure clean skin.
I typically do my eyebrow dying when I'm coloring my hair...so my steps are: clean face, apply color to my hair, wait about 35 minutes after I've applied my hair color, and then start the Jolen on my eyebrows. When the Jolen is done on my eyebrows (about 10 to 20 minutes)...I'll rinse off the Jolen, then rinse out my hair.
I mix Jolen with the provided spatula in the recommended 2 to 1 ratio, in a small amount on the provided square plastic mixing piece. Once both parts are mixed, I use the spatula to carefully place a thick amount onto each eyebrow. The mixture stays put on the brow well - so you don't have to worry about a glob falling off into your eyes. Having said that, you don't want to do jumping jacks while you have the product on your eyebrows!!!
I allow the mixture to remain on my brows anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes, and then wipe off with a tissue. Once the mixture is gone and I see my newly blond eyebrows, I cleanse my face again...and go on about my life.
It is so amazing!!
