To install:

1. Clean applicable areas with rubbing alcohol and dry thoroughly.  Surfaces must be smooth, flat and grease free.
2. If using on a drawer, it may be necessary to remove drawer before beginning.
3. Determine best location for lock.  Latch and catch position will vary depending on individual circumstances.  Opening should be wide enough for an adult to press the finger release, but not so wide that a child may reach in.
4. Do not remove tape backing until final application has been determined.
   (a) Framed Application - Use angled catch.  Hold angled catch about 1" from inside corner of frame and flush with back edge (illus.).  Position latch so it engages catch when cabinet or drawer is opened (illus.).  Mark positions.  Now remove tape backing and press securely onto surfaces.
   (b) Frameless Application - Use sliding catch.  Hold latch and sliding catch in desired position (illus.).  Adjust slider so it engages latch when cabinet or drawer is opened.  It may be necessary to tighten or loosen slider screw to facilitate adjustment.  Mark positions.  Now remove tape backing and press securely onto surfaces.
5. For maximum adhesion, allow tape to set for 24 hours before using lock.
6. If lock adhesive surface is less than 75% of total adhesion area or if lock is not secure, the included screws should be used.

To use: Press latch down firmly while opening door/drawer.  Automatically locks when closed.

To remove: Remove lock and wipe off adhesive with cloth and warm water or appropriate cleaning agent.
