damaging to hair, has bleach

Pros: removes artificial color

Cons: does not metion it contains bleach, further damages your hair

After a normal color remover, which just dissolves the artificial color, my hair is usually left orange due to the hydrogen peroxide in the hair colors. This Remover took it a few steps lighter due to the bleach it contains, which the 'color expert Loreal' failed to mention on the box. The problem with the bleach is that it damages and dries your hair further. If you want a normal color remover that will only dissolve the artificial color with no damage to your hair, use Color Oops.

This product is actually the best product I ever used before. Its way better then bleach. I had redish brown hair before, then I use this product and it made my hair orangy red,the product tells you that it will strip all your permanat hair color off your hair and your hair will be turning orange so that's why they recommend you purchase a hair dye. I purchase revlon hair color light brown. So after I apply the hair dye,after washing it out blow drying it my hair was totaly light brown! I loved it so much I will never go back to bleach again this product did not do any damage to my hair. I colored my hair more than 14 times so I know a good product when I see one. I use to color my hair black at least 5 times and went to light colors. Using this product makes it easier for me to go dark to light

This is not good! As the others stated, it leaves chunks of blonde and the ends of my hair is still black with red. Wow!!! Totally does not do what it states!!

I dyed my hair black about two weeks ago, purchased this online so I would be forced to wait the full two weeks before re-coloring my hair.
I have fine hair that comes down to just above my shoulders; I needed two boxes. I hadn't planned for this, as I don't consider my hair long. My husband had to drive to Walgreens and get me another one.
All in all: it did remove the black. I left it in for 20 minutes and my hair came out a reddish, brown, blonde--whatever. Chunks are red, chunks are brown, chunks are blonde.
I've been coloring my hair since I was 12 years old (I'm 22 now) and never before have I had so much of my hair come out while dying it. It's not noticeable while looking at it, but it freaked me out.
It does work though!

THIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE CALLED HAIR COLOR REMOVER. IT DOES NOT REMOVE "HAIR COLOR" AS IN DYE. IT REMOVES ALL HAIR COLOR AND DAMAGES YOUR HAIR. IT IS QUITE LIKE WHAT THEY USE IN THE SALON TO HIGHLIGHT BLACK HAIR. ONLY USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE WANTING TO START WITH STRIPED HAIR AND PLAN TO DYE IT ANOTHER COLOR IMEDIATLY!!!

Black to light brown

I have natural light brown hair that I've been coloring black with permanent hair color for about three years now, after even saturation my roots were obviously lighter than the rest but removed enough of the black to go back to brown (ended up a dark red), I'll continue to lighten from here, I didn't expect to have what I wanted in one try anyway but progress is progress and the black is on it's way OUT
