I was hesitant to use a self tanner for fear of looking fake and streaky, but this product has a nice bronze color and it goes on nicely as long as you apply it according to the recommendations. I will happily use this product all summer instead of damaging my skin by baking in the sun. Many have commented negatively about the glitter, it really didn't bother me and I thought it gave the color a nice subtle sheen. Maybe it would be too much shine on the beach, but then again, might be just a matter of preference and what type of clothing you have on :)

I didn't know that it would have shimmering glitter in the lotion and wasn't ready for that at all. I had to give it to a friend that like to wear body glitter because I don't like looking cheap. It's a good tanner but the glitter killed all the effects. Sorry I don't like this product.

I like this product except for the sparkles. It is easy to apply quite evenly because it is tinted, and the color is very natural.
The sparkles on the other hand, pretty much scream out "FAKE TAN". I don't know about you, but when I get a natural tan, my skin does not suddenly get sparkly.
I noticed that this product loses effectiveness over time, so it is important to use it when it is fresh. To that end, I would think L'Oreal would want to put an expiration date on the bottle.

This is the best self tanner I've tried. It did not leave color on my palms, it gives an even sun-like tan, not any goofy orange coloring. It has a very pleasant scent and the bronzing does not rub off on clothing.

I saw all the great reviews on this product thinking that, WOW this must be a great product. So I, of coarse went and bought it. I must say i am not very impressed. It got all streaky and looked very orange. It was also not very cheap and it smelled bad. I tried mixing it with baby lotion to see if that would tone down the orange, and it did. After mixing it with a little baby lotion, it appeared more natural and even. But I still didnt wanna pay money for something that i had to mix with other stuff. Jergens Natural Glow is DEFINATLY the best.

I will use this product again! I am very fair skinned, and this product worked great for me. It is more like a gel then a lotion, which I liked. I felt it made applying it much easier than a typical lotion. I suggest exfoliating VERY well in a hot shower before application. Apply baby oil lightly with a cotton ball to dry areas like: knees, elbows, knuckles, cuticles, toes, ankles and heels before applying self tanner. I strongly recommend using very tight disposable gloves when applying to the body & face & rub the back of the hands together to apply to hands(use a small amount in this area and blend residue to fingers), this way your palms don't turn orange. I have found I prefer to apply self tanners before bed this way I can go to sleep nude or in loose fitting clothes to let the tanner develop evenly. I did notice with this product it is very important to keep my skin well moisturized every day after application to keep my tan looking nice and even. If you have never used a self tanner I would recommend watching tutrials online. They have many great videos with excellent tips.
