Wife and I bought this product about 18 months ago. Maybe the one we received was defective but it makes a high pitch "squeal" (no, not my wife...the vibrator). The noise is faint but noticeable in a quiet room. My wife also didn't like the available speed settings. Overall good but for the price not a good value.

The best I have ever used. Will replace everything else. Love that is is re-chargeable and holds it's charge for a very long time. The buzz is intense and it is the perfect size to hit the spot just right. Wowzers.
