their are great on your braids i do kinky twist in people hair and it locks the twists together and makes the hair smell great. I use Let's Jam Mega Hold Protein Styling Gel on everything i do to people head. it hold the hair together and it dry quick and it do let white stuff in your hair like regular white gel does . I will keep using this product until they stop selling it . I love this product and i hope they keep selling it i use it for everything when it comes to hair THANKS..........

I applied this product to my daughter's natural (afro-american) hair and by mid-afternoon her hair was DRY with massive buildup. It was as if I had put scrambled eggs in her hair!!! After shampooing her hair twice, the build-up was still adhering to her roots and scalp. Finally after using a clarifying shampoo was I able to get the vast majority of the residue removed from her hair. Needless to say the multiple washings and clarification left her hair rather dry. I immediately threw the gel away and will never buy nor recommend this product to anyone.

someone decided to take the cheap, clear [$] gel and put it in a "Let's Jam" container. it is not like the other jam. it is like the dollar store jam. it does not work on afro texture hair.

I have thick hair and it loves moisture but this product works. I doesn't leave flakes the next day, great between perms and has great hold! It also smells great!
