When I was a child, my mother used the original Pink Oil moisturizer to not only moisturize my hair but as a heat protectant when blow drying and pressing my hair. The original one was very greasy; however, my hair was always long and thick. I stopped using Pink Oil when I went off to college in the early 90's. My hair has been cut super short since '97 and now I am trying to grow my hair back long and I remembered Pink Oil. I was ecstatic when I saw the light version...my hair feels so soft and is now growing towards shoulder length. Don't be alarmed that it contains mineral oil because it works and the smell isn't as robust as the original lotion, which would make my hair slick to my scalp. LOL! July 26, 2011
