Hot
To prevent overheating of the pack, microwave in 30-second increments until desired temperature is reached. After each 30 seconds, remove the pack from the microwave and check the temperature for at least 5 seconds. Total heating time should not exceed 2 minutes (maximum of four 30 second intervals). Make sure temperature is comfortable to the touch before applying to the skin.
Cold
Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Remove from freezer and apply directly to skin. Magic Bag can also be stored in the freezer, in a plastic bag.
