My son severely sprained his ankle just days before he was to attend a dinner dance. He wanted a cane that would "match" his tux and not call attention to the fact that he had to use one. This one fit the bill, on all levels. The price was right (it was on sale that week!) and he didn't mind having to use the cane, considering it "blended" in with his attire.

Great when I'm shopping. I can fold it up in my shopping cart to avoid hitting oncoming traffic!
