1. Crutch height:

Adjust crutch height by depressing push buttons, rotating footpiece clockwise 1/4 in. and pulling the footpiece down until the button appears at the desired patient height shown on height scale. Rotate footpiece counter-clockwise to lock leg in place

1. Handgrip:

Adjust handgrip so that there is a slight bend at patient's elbow (approximately 10). Set and tighten adjusting bolts

1. Check fit:

With the bottoms of the crutches slightly outside and in front of patient's feet, the patient should be able to lean forward comfortably, resting on the underarm supports. Crutches should not be so long that they force patient to stand completely erect
