Pros: good fiber intake, no gritty taste, mixes well with any beverage, mixes well with any food, No Aftertaste, 5 grams of fiber per teaspoon

Cons: pricey at times but no others

This is a product I use every day. I'm a 52-year-old lady, who after having my first colonoscopy at 50, was recommended by my gastroenterologist to increase my fiber intake as much as possible. My colonoscopy was perfectly normal, but he recommended to me just as he does all his patients that they get all the fiber in their diet as possible. He recommended one of the over-the-counter fiber supplements such as this to add to my diet. I chose this one, as I can add this to my daily cup of coffee, which I drink two every day, and that adds 10 grams right off the bat, which is a great start for the day. There is absolutely no gritty taste or aftertaste and you don't even know that you've even used it. I then can add the other teaspoon to any other drink of choice or add it to a bowl of cereal or whatever I choose. It is an absolutely wonderful product.

It can be expensive at times, but sometimes you can find a sale on it, which helps tremendously. Fiber is an important part of everyone's daily diet and this is a very good way to start your day. I also add other things to my diet to get my daily fiber intake, but this is my daily start.

If you are looking for an easy start for daily intake of fiber, please try this. I guarantee you will absolutely love this product, except for maybe the price, but it is well worth it. And you can always look for it on sale and be sure and check online or your local newspaper for coupons. That always helps. I love it and I'm sure anyone who tries it will too.

Wow....No Taste!

I knew I needed to add more fiber to my diet, & thought this would help me.

In the past I had tried regular Metamucil (the orange powder) & absolutely hated it! It was gritty, thick & just plain nasty.

So, I read reviews on Metamucil Clear & Natural and decided to give it a try. I first compared it to Benefiber. MC&N has more fiber per serving. So I decided to try it.

Today I got a jar and wanted to give it a real good test.....in a clear glass of filtered water. I added 1 tsp, stirred & was happy to see it completely dissolved, nothing floating and nothing at the bottom of the glass.

Now for the BIG test.....taste! I LOVE the flavor of our filtered water & had no doubt I could tell immediately if the MC&N changed the taste, even a little.
