Misuse of this product can cause hair and skin damage. Follow directions carefully to avoid skin and scalp burns, hair loss and eye injury. You must use suitable gloves when applying and rinsing product. Do not use on bleached or permanently colored hair. Do not use on hair that is breaking, splitting, shedding, or damaged. If hair has been previously processed, apply only to the new growth as described in the directions. Apply protective gel around entire hairline, neck, ears and forehead before applying product. My hair feels TERRIBLE

I am mixed, so I have a fair/medium texture of hair and have been relaxing my hair since I was about 9 years old. I have done everything from relaxers to the Brazilian Blowout(which is amazing but pricey). Well I am in the military and am up in Washington doing some training and wanted to relax my hair. My only option was a box relaxer, so since I generally relax my hair with the motions professional relaxer from Sally's I decided to go with their brand of box relaxer. I have to say...what a MISTAKE. My hair seriously feels like a bowl of rice krispy treats. I am so frustrated with it that I almost want to shave it. I honestly don't know if it was just the horrible leave-in conditioner, conditioning masque or relaxer that dried my hair out to the max. I have corn straws for hair now, and I pray that when i wash my hair next it goes back to normal. Anyhow, regardless, I will never use this again. I may even go back to my more expensive alternative Brazilian Blowout. What a waste of money, and I sure can't get that, or my hair back thats been falling out! BOO!

This product is excellent and is definitely worth the price. I have tried almost every other product on the market and none can compare. My hair is silkier, more manageable and break free.

I have shoulder length 3c hair. I wanted to losen my curls so I started using relaxers to do this. I tried the olive oil brand twice and it was a big mistake. it burned and my hair broke alot. I walked passed the new motions box and decided to try it. i'm happy I did. My hair is softer, heathier, growing faster and looking better than it ever has. I use it every 3rd month and I can't imagin going without this product. It also saved me money becuase I used to buy a bunch of products to keep my hiar under control. Now i just use so lotion and I look better than ever.

Cons: waaay to expensive

I used this on my hair after not having permed my hair in over a year. It looks as though I had tex-laxed my hair (left perm on for only a few minutes)and I left it on for the recommended time. Any other time I can use any relaxer and my hair normally comes out very straight, even with the cheap kind not left on for the full time. I was actually glad it had not come out very straight because I don't like the bone straight look, but I could have got the same results using a much cheaper perm. If you want bone straight hair this may not be for you.
