I jammed my thumb or *something* in a martial art and after a week of wrapping my thumb in an ace bandage, I still couldn't find relief. I finally got this and some tiger balm. INSTANT relief putting it on. It puts your thumb in proper place to relieve pressure. It also frees up the tip so you still have some grasping capabilities but not enough to hurt your thumb. I'm even typing with it on now! Awesome! Mueller, btw, makes great braces. I go thru alot of braces - they're ankle ones are fantastic.

I have an old injury, which has caused arthritis in my thumb joint, and has become quite painful. I found this, put it on in the store, and felt immediate relief. I supports the thumb, and keeps it in the proper placement.

I have had a lot of difficulty in finding a comfortable brace for thumb osteoarthritis which will not irritate an old tendon damage injury that resulted in a large calcium deposit at the base of my thumb at my wrist. This brace is SO soft and comfortable. The 2 stays are wide enough apart to miss the lump at my wrist. I wish that this had come out before I purchased another brace by mail order at twice the price!

I found I needed a thumb brace or splint or something. I got whatever was on the shelf at two different drugstores. This Is The One ! i hope they finally produce it in a pale color. the package says "new" and apparently it really is new -- the mueller main website does not list it. and even the website for mueller sport care, does not list it. i'm going to try and buy several more right now, before they disappear.
