I use this product to cast out negative thoughts, to be happier, help support my healthy lifestyle & sleep better. I have been using it for a week & a half & noticed a difference by day 2. I feel an even larger difference since then & am enjoying being able to concentrate at work, school & not letting my lack of coping with life reflect upon my children! I take it in addition to therapy & can't wait until I get to my 6 months of feeling terrific!

This product is amazing! It makes me naturally happy and energetic and it's non-addictive as well. Also, one is enough. It eliminates hunger better than any hunger suppressant i've ever taken. If anything it works too well, sometimes I have to force myself to eat! Which could be a good or bad thing. I've had no bad side effects. Never the less; great stuff, I highly reccommend it.

I have to absolutally recommend this product. I've tried fish oil, St. John's Wort and SAMe and none gave me the results that the 5-htp does. To sum it up, I've noticed a handful of what I thought were unrelated symptoms cropping up in the last few years. Insomnia, wierd sleep patterns, weight gain, overall pain and fatigue, and lately a lingering depression that was starting to worry me. But what really drove me to look for a solution was headaches that were getting more and more frequent and severe in intensity. I'd been on SSRI's in the past and didn't want to go that route, but I needed to do something. I have been taking this for about a week and already my headaches are gone. I am not as hungry as usual, am sleeping better than ever and waking rested, and for the first time ever, didn't get PMS symptoms like usual. I think this supplement actually works to raise your seratonin levels, which by the way, a SSRI won't do because that's not how they work. This product could save you HUNDREDS on Rx drugs and is worth a try.

I was feeling down a couple of months ago and despite my best efforts to make very simple changes in my life, I was getting no improvement in the areas that I sought to improve. I considered myself depressed, I've been there before and I know well how it manifests itself in my life. I've also taken prescription anti-depressants too, wound up on 3 different kinds at the same time once. Prescriptions anti-depressants always gave me equal amounts of relief and side effects. I really don't like side effects. To me, there is no better way to say, "that stuff your taking is kinda screwing you up, makes you wonder what else its doing to your body." I did some research that led me to 5-HTP and SAM-e. I started taking both at the same time... results were extremely quick, I noticed a huge turn around within a week (5 days). Oh yeah, no side effects for me! I may take these things indefinitely. Of course, you should consult your doctor regarding any medical issues.
