This face wash is really good. This is a real facial scrub. Most scrubs are too light when you really can't feel the scrub. This scrub you actually can feel the deep clean. I use it everyday as a wash and before I shave. It helps you get a closer shave if you wash before you shave. It also washes away oil from my skin.

this new formula uses fewer of the scrubbing beads, which is the WHOLE point of a face "scrub".
instead they have opted for more "soap" which only irritates my eyes and nose.
the Energizing was a better value.

I used to use the "Energizing" formula of this daily to keep my skin even and smooth. It worked perfectly! Unfortunately Nivea has decided to discontinue it and replace it with this. The "Revitalizing" formula doesn't work nearly as well. I have written a complaint to Nivea about this unfortunate attempt at a product "innovation", and they have notified the production team of my displeasure. I ask that everyone who has also been disappointed with the new "revitalizing" formula go to Nivea's website and contact them about it. Maybe with enough complaints we can get our good old Energizing face scrub back!

I use this product after razor shaving because the grittiness of this product smoothes out my skin leaving it refreshed and smooth. Then I use the Hydro gel or Q10 moisturizer. If I do not use the Energizing Face scrub after shaving I'm more likely to get in-grown hairs on my face and break out. Great product, but hard to find in any stores!!
