Even though I'm a man, I've bought over a dozen pairs of these socks in both brown and black weave. They are similar to the UK socks I'm accustomed to and certainly last long enough for their price. I've yet to wear a hole in any of them! [NOTE - I'm a man's size 11 and I *still* order the smaller size.]
