When a person needs a cane to walk and must lean on it for balance this type hard handle is not comfortable for long periods of time. If one only needs the cane for short periods of time this handle may be okay. I prefer the fatter, softer type with a little softness to it.

Cane is pretty but lightweight, and base is thin painted metal. Fine for warm, dry days, but might need much cleaning in wet weather Thought it would be sturdier. Handle is small for my hand but is solid and easy to keep clean.

I wanted a cane that wasn't that ugly silver and this one is pretty nice. It supports my weight and is easy to use, however, I just started using a cane with the help of my physical therapist, so I haven't used it much for a long period of time. It's good in my house and at work, but I haven't used it outside or for long periods yet.
I did want something that was colorful and cheery, instead of that ugly silver and this one is pretty nice. I wish I could have found one in just plain colors, for example: pink, purple, etc.
I would recommend this to anyone.
