A Medical Food with a protein, vitamin and mineral profile specifically formulated for dialysis patients with chronic or acute renal failure or patients requiring electrolyte or fluid restrictions.

Store at room temperature. After opening, unused NovaSource Renal should be covered and refrigerated; discard if not used within 24 hours.

Chill before serving. Shake well. Insert straw, or pull tab and pour into container. Use under medical supervision.

Follow physician's instructions. Feed at room temperature. Adjust formula flow rate, volume and dilution to patient's condition and tolerance. Avoid contamination during preparation and use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mother's keeper Novasource is a replacement for snack Novasource is best used by someone who does not have a kidney problem. My mother has one very small kidney and the other one is somewhat depleated. 86 years on this planet has taken it's toil. My mother's renial pannel comes into play with high levels of potassium reported using this product. We were advised to use this product by a Renial Dietitian..we tryed it and use it only for a snack to get the needed calories. Always check with your Doctor. February 26, 2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by Robo an excellant diet supplement I don't get enough protein in my diet so this helps alot as a supplement. It tastes great, provides the nutrition I need as a dialysis patient. I only wish the price was a little lower, but the price here is still better than other places online. October 22, 2008
