Love the texture and scent.
First use, I tried it for a roller set and clearly used too much. My hair felt like gum, but it looked good. Looked very shiny and wet…which is a good look if you're doing a wash & go or twist out...which I don't.
Second use, I used much less and the results were better, but still gummy.
Next time, I'll do what the prior reviewer suggests and use the style milk in conjunction with this.
I know I could return it, but I like the idea of this gel and love the natural ingredients, so I really want it to work for me.

this stuff should NOT be used how the container says. I tried it that way and it was awful but then I tried again using SheaMoisture curl and style milk and my hair looks and feels great but this stuff does the same as the curling souffle from SheaMoisture so when i finish the rest I'll just go back to that after all it cost less, you get more, and it does the same thing

I don't know what this is suppose to do for your hair. It was as if I just put water on my hair. Now it might do something if you were to follow up with straightening your hair. However the directions says don't mix this product with anything else, what a disaster it is extremely too dry.
