Tea Alchemy
Tea was discovered 4800 years ago in the year 2737 B.C.E. by Emperor Shen Nung of China.  One afternoon, while boiling a pot of water and resting under a wild tea tree, a slight breeze stirred the branches above and caused a few tea leaves to drift into his simmering water.  He drank the water and, to his surprise, found that it made him feel uplifted and revitalized.  From that time on, people around the world have been blending teas and herbs into millions of concoctions.  We at Numi call this the "art of tea alchemy" and welcome you to create your own infusions at home that appeal to your palate.
