Rated 5 out of 5Â by Sassy Girl Wonderful For Hair!
I just finished reading some of the comments that rated this product from horrible to excellent. Well let me just say this; when I made the decision to transition from relaxers to my natural hair, I needed something that not only provided moisture, body and would protect my ends. I found this at my local Family Dollar Store for only $4.00 and after reading the ingredients, I decided to give this a try!
Boy am I glad I did! This product is great! After I shampooed my hair, I applied this product to my damp hair and I was amazed at how it "coated" and protected my hair! Some of you say it is "greasy", well how much are you using?! I applied a small amount and massaged it into my hair, parted my hair down the middle, secured it with pins and left it alone!
When I went to take my hair down, I couldn't believe how soft and manageable it was! To continue my hair regimen, I went and bought more bottles and use it a deep conditioner from time to time.
I flat ironed my hair and I couldn't believe the sheen, the shine and the softness this product did for my hair! I am pleased and will continue to use this product. It works for me and I am pleased with it.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.
left my hair dry as heck. this was greasy and disgusting. my hands looked like i had dipped them in oil after i was done putting some on my hair. i am not heavy handed. i have a little below shoulder length hair, and always use about a half-dollar sized amount of moisturizer for my hair, and it works perfect for me. i used the same amount as i always do, and it just left my hair feeling and looking so nasty. ugh. waste of my money.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by yamama its okay but not for me
personally i have thick hair(it's relaxed) but my hair doesn't do well with really greasy products it weighs my hair down even if i use a dime size and rub it all through my hair. I guess it just depends on the texture of your hair, but for me I need something more light

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Back to natural prouduct junkie jamaican Want to love this but my hair doesnt
I dont know what it is with this hair lotion but my hair just doesnt like it! I tried it when organic root stimulator just came out a few years ago and my by the middle of a small bottle I had to stop-it was making my thick full head of relaxed hair break all over the place the next day i would pull my hair out-where are the moisturising properties? Then I recently decided to transition to natural and get my heair more healthy and Im only 3 months into it and have a loooong way to go because i have long hair so I watch youtube a lot to learn about how to have healthy hair and a lot of sisters on youtube with natural and relaxed hair reccomend this prouduct highly! So I bought naother bottle recently and started using it on my new growth aswell as my ends.Again the hard trashy hair is back!!I dont know what it is but my hair doesnt like this lotion, its heavy too and greasy in an unpleasant oily lotion way.My hair just doesnt seem to like moisturisng "lotion" of any brand or kind and responds really well to moisturizers in jars like the jojoba oil by organic root stimulator-LOVE THAT!! And the olive oil spray sheen works really well for me,,but this olive oil lotion does not.I even tried using it as a protector for blowing my hair straight and it just made my hair not get as straight as it could get and made it have less body and look more crinkly in the strands which I was trying to get straight.I really want to love this and dont want this bigger newer bittle to end up like the smaller one I STILL have with the half the prouuct lefy in it from likr 5yrs ago so I'll try to smooth a bit of it thru my hair after a roller set or use it to tame flyways or frizzies when i want to slap my transitioning hair into a ponytail.I think my hair just doesnt like olive oil though as weird as that sounds because its so good for your hair:I tried adding pure olive oil to my deep conditoners and I noticed a little bit of the sam hardness and then another time recently a few weeks ago i had a bad experience with a protien conditioner,my hair seems to hate protien, and my hair was hard and breaky for days after I did the protien treatment and one day i was desperate so before the gym I partedmy hair up and practically shoveled fistfulls of olive oil into my hair just so I could tame it and add some moisture with all that breakage and the pure olive oil did lubricate my hair but it still felt a little hard after a day or 2 so maybe its my hair and olive oil because a lot of people love this hair oil and organic root stimulator prouducts are great.
