Automatic target zone
Automatic target zone helps keep on desired intensity. Heart rate limits are determined automatically by the training computer according to age-based maximum heart rate. The target limits are 65 % and 85 % of the estimated maximum heart rate, but they can be adjusted by the user. Training computer displays the target zone graphically and gives audible alarm when heart rate is out of the target zone.
Polar OwnCal®
OwnCal® counts and displays calorie expenditure during one training session as well as accumulated kilocalories during several training sessions to help achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
Memory files
FT4 automatically stores all data from the training, taking samples every few
seconds.
Display texts
Display texts can be presented in eight different languages. User can select from English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Finnish, and Swedish.

WearLink® measures your heart rate and seamlessly adapts to your body shapes, so you'll forget you're wearing one. Soft textile material feels like clothing on the skin and with its side-clip mechanism, it's just as quick to put on as it is to take off.
