Walgreeens service on these contacts was fine and pricing less than others for these special order, high index prescription contacts. The contacts themselves do give me better vision than others but are outrageously priced for the only fair quality. They are very thin and fragile, and rip easily when attempting to even very lightly rub them to clean them. I also find that my eyes are much more sensitive overall to light, and to irritants like pollen when I am wearing them.

I have been wearing lens forever hard to soft, all brands.
When Coopervision brought Proclear into view, it was just amazing.
It was when my vision changed from single near sighted lens to Mono Vision Lens. The Doctor I went to, recommended to start trying this first, he fitted me with many brands at that time, then he gave me the Proclear Sphere, these where the most comfortable and all day wear not drying my eyes. I wore these lens for over 15 years with no problems. They mimmic your eyes surface. I loved them.
Then my vision changed again, the use of computer, smart phones, etc., caused the eyes to find a new vision lens to replace the Mono Lens. First, I tried to correct the reading eye with the Mono method. It was great for close up, but did not pick up the mid view. I just did not want to wear eyeglasses over the lens. Then the Doctor recommended the Multifocal Lens, I tried all the brands again and the he gave me my favorite brand last, Proclear. He fitted the Proclear Multifocal. These lens are a bit thicker then the Proclear Sphere, so my eyes had to adjust to the feel, a cinch.
The technology Coopervision gave to the Proclear Multifocal was by far the best, in Fit, Feel and View. At least for me, they are wonderful.
*My left eye, the reading eye (this was what caused the change in the vision) adjusted to the view in the lens very fast. Close up, Mid View and Distance. It was unbelievable!
I can read my iPhone, sit at the desk for the computer and see far away, driving.
*The right eye, the distant dominate eye, took a bit longer to adjust, but this is normal and it is doing fine.
The Proclear Mulifocal XR, is for us, that have a steep base curve, so they have to be made to order (about 2 weeks), not a problem.
Walgreens had the best prices, ordering was great.
To all who are looking for new Multifocal Lens, try this brand over the others to compare.
They have even Toric Multifocal for stigmatism.
Good Luck and happy vision!
Note from me:
When comparing lens, it's all about the materials being used and how your eye feels: what is comfortable, no blurring vision, is improving your vision as close to perfect as it can get (not totally perfect) and no white stringy film building up after a few hours. Some people have to adjust to the new lens products.
Find a Doctor to work with you, it is most important, if not move to another, who has your eyes in his sight.

Walgreens had the best price on these very expensive contact lenses. They were out of stock and took a lot longer to receive but when they came in shipping was upgraded to overnight at no charge. I will order from Walgreens next time!

I am very, very nearsighted and started needing bifocal contacts a couple of years ago. These are very comfortable and I love that they have a blue tint. It makes it easier to find them when I accidently drop one.
