This box spring cover keeps bedbugs out of your box spring, or, if they are already there, keeps them from getting out again. Unfortunately we brought bedbugs back home with us on our luggage after a hotel stay. After a visit from an exterminator to kill our new "house guests," we purchased the box spring cover and pillow covers to protect our bed. (Our mattress already had such a cover.) The cover has to be handled carefully to avoid tears, but is easy to put on. We called the toll-free number on the package with a question about placing pads (included with the cover) on the bed frame to keep the cover from tearing where it rests on the bed frame, and the representative was friendly and very helpful. This is a highly recommended and reliable product.
