I like the precision of a fine point pen and this product has it. If you like your color more on the dark side then simply blotting the felt tip in the palm of your hand before applying works great. Product stays put without smudging or flaking.
The fine point of the pen allows you to place the liner exactly where you want it and as thick as you want it.

I like a more dramatic look, so this was not for me. The color was very light... basicly it didn't show up for me at all and it was harder to apply than regular liquid(I had to blot it on a tissue several times just to get it to start working.) After three times of reapplying it, I went to work but less than an hour later. Gone. Didn't last.
On top of this, it was very irritating, but this could just be me.
I would NOT recommend this product for people looking for:
- Dark/Dramatic (Cat Eye)
- An Easier way to apply liquid
It could possibly be used to touch up eyeliner... but I'd just save my money.

I bought this eyeliner on a whim because I was looking for something new. I fell in love instantly! First off its really easy to use because it isn't at all messy. I should point out that on your first use you need to shake it so you can bring the the color to the tip. I wear eyeliner almost everyday and this lasted me close to 6 months! And I always get compliments on my eyeliner and people ask me who its by. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone!

Although this product is supposed to be the pen form of the liquid liner, it is definitely not as effective because the pigment is faded compared to the actual liquid liner. You have to press fairly hard before you get the black pigment out instead of just a dark gray pigment, and I have done a lot to make sure that it's not just me--I've done test strokes and I've shaken the pen before applying. My advice is to skip over this product and go straight to the actual Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner and save the two dollars for something else. The pigment is my only complaint, though. You can fix that by going over your eyeliner a few times, but I find that is something I shouldn't have to do.
It doesn't smudge and lasts a very, very long time. Also, the felt tip is nice for beginners because they will have more control and not mess up as easily.
