I purchased this lip stain a couple months ago. I like this stain- I use it daily. It has really good staying power. The price was good plus the cashier gave me a coupon for $1.00 off so HAD to buy it. : ) I agree w/other reviewers that the "balm" end comes off easily. A twist down balm would work best..Hint...Hint. I thought that the stain dried out but found when I shook it "down" CAP ON PLEASE... (otherwise it splatters out on everything else : { walls etc. Once I shake it "down" the stain comes to the tip and works great. I apply 3 coats to get the deeper color I like. I will continue to purchase & recommend it

I bought this in Frenzy and love the color, which is deeper than a Maybelline lipstain I had purchased earlier. The color goes on evenly and deepens according to how much you put on. Here's the downside: the balm side does not retract, so literally the first time I used it, it snapped off. From other online reviewers, I see that's a common problem. I can do without the balm and just use my own, but I hate having to pay for something I can't use.

I tried the product and thought the pointed tip of the lip stain felt too rough for my lips when applied. The color went on dark and rich and it did last for the day. The next two days, the color wasn't as rich and became lighter. The lip balm stick tip fell off! I feel like even though I bought this on sale, I wasted my money. I wear my lipsticks for years! With some improvements, this could be a better product but for now, I won't be buying another one.

this product is probably the worst product i have ever used i had it for less than 24 hrs before the balm side broke off and by the third day the color was dried out and i had only used it twice. this product went on splotchy but i though i could just rub it in because i like the color so much but nope it just dried out anyways.this is going back to the store tonight!!!!

When I first got this I absolutely loved it because I love the look of color on my lips without the stickiness or shine. I even went back and got another color the very same day I bought my first one. But, I unfortunately didn't ever pay attention to my lips after I applied it. I typically just put on some blush and lip color and then I don't pay attention to it again. I noticed the second day that my lips weren't dark anymore in the evening. So the next day I decided to check every hour, just to see when the color is fading, and the very first hour-it was gone!! As if I had never used it. So the next day, I tried doing it again and 15 minutes passed and it was all gone. I'm not kidding!! Now, I'm not priming my lips, or putting the balm on. As I understand it, the balm is optional.
I'm not certain how these other reviewers got this stuff to work. Maybe they reapplied it often during the day and one reviewer did say you can reapply to 'build up the color' or maybe they even work for Revlon. Maybe my lips are weird. I don't now why it didn't work for me. I just know that this stuff disappeared off my lips, I'm even hesitant to shell out 5 more bucks for the maybelline or the covergirl version. I think I would get better results with a sharpie, but they don't offer as many colors, lol.

The stain was not easy to apply like a stick. (Hard to make sure you apply enough on the narrow parts of your mouth.) The stain felt weird like a tingling feeling. Color was darker on then shown. I tired lust then forbidden. I'm sure the stain will dry out before I use it all.
