Heats up and straightens quickly, meaning little time with the plates actually on my hair doing damage. Love the bonus mini for travel. Not to mention the ceramic plates are hot pink for a little touch of fun. This flat iron rivals the expensive guys!

This is the first straightener that I have ever used and bought (:
At first I was kind of scared that I would damage my hair because I didn't know what setting I should use for my hair.
But when I looked to the back of the box, it shows a table that gives you the setting to match your hair type! (:

As for the 1/2" one, there is no setting; so I have no idea the amount of heat put into my hair. All I know is that when I try curling with it, it would actually come out curly; as for the large one (with my specific setting,) there wasn't much results with the curls. That's when I knew that the 1/2" one has a much higher temperature than I would normally use. Although I used a generous amount of heat protectant, it seems to come out a bit frizzy and dried out (my hair is normally greasy.) I was surprised by the amount of heat it has...

i love love love this straightner! it works amazing and leaves me hair so smooth&shiny i can even do curls with this straightner. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

These flat irons straighten my hair very quickly and without much damage to my hair. Very lightweight and easy to handle. The extra detailer works very well on the smaller pieces of hair framing my face. A great value.
