- Do put everything you need together, so you can work fast. If necessary, ask a friend to help. This assures best possible results and even relaxing. Use a clock or kitchen timer. Put on a plastic shoulder cape or towel. Put on plastic or rubber gloves to protect hands. Comb out tangles gently
- Do not pre-shampoo hair
- Do not apply creme relaxer to scalp
- Do not wet hair or manipulate scalp in any way before application
- Do not use hot combs or other heated implements with creme relaxer
- Do not use over "curly perm" until hair grows out
- Do always wear plastic or rubber gloves to apply creme relaxer
- Do always apply a protective petroleum jelly around entire hairline including nape (back) of the neck. We recommend the use of herbal deep shampoo (pH 6.9) and liquid tex conditioner
- Fine easily relaxed hair: mild strength, 13 minutes
- Normal, medium texture: regular, 15 minutes
- Coarse or resistant: super, 18 minutes
No base formula. For color treated (not bleached) or fine hair.

Re-touching - applying to new growth: Preliminary strand test must be made to determine condition of hair and timing required. New growth may be re-touched approximately every 8 to 10 weeks. Apply conditioning creme relaxer to new growth only (hair that has grown out since last relaxing), following previously outlined procedure for application. Smooth new growth only, avoiding overlapping of previously relaxed hair. Do not let creme relaxer touch scalp. Follow directions for removal of creme relaxer, neutralizing and conditioning. Do's and don'ts:

- Do not use if scalp is irritated or injured
- Do not use on bleached hair. Do not use on permanently colored hair which is breaking, splitting or otherwise damaged. Use only the mild strength formula for hair that has been permanently colored and shows no sign of damage
- If you have previously relaxed your hair, relax only the new growth as described in the retouching directions
- If the relaxer causes skin or scalp irritation, rinse out immediately and wash with a non-alkaline shampoo (pH below 7). If irritation persists or if hair loss occurs, consult a physician
- If relaxer gets into eyes, rinse immediately and consult a physician
- Do not use on permanently waved or curled permed hair until the perm grows out
