I've had this hair dryer since middle school and just died on me this week...that's 15 years of service! Best value for a hair dryer ever, especially at a value price point. I'm a professional cheerleader (long & thick hair included) and have to carry all my products with me to games and events. With that being said, I'm not the most gentle. I've dropped it countless times but it is still the hottest and most powerful dryer I have ever used! I've borrowed a variety of dryers from my teammates and everyone says mine is the best! The Cool Shot button is refreshing too! I've had it shut off on me before but that's not because of quality defect, its for safety. Because the breaker on the plug tripped or it got too hot-after being on for an extra long extended period (like when I use it to dry my clothes when I'm in a pinch!) But reset the plug or wait 5 minutes and its good! Also is sold under the "Vidal Sassoon" Brand. I'm buying my second one!

I bought this thinking that it is compact and would be good for traveling and use at home. I wash and blow dry my hair every other day with a round brush. At first it was fine, nothing special. Then before work one morning it just stopped working.This would be understandable if it was over a year old, but I had only had it for A MONTH. Needless to say I am incredibly frustrated with the poor quality and was late to work that day as well. This product is unreliable and not worth the money at all. I will not be purchasing anything from Revlon in the future. My advise is to spend the extra money and buy a professional hair drier.

Although the dryer is lightweight and not too loud, the product died after 2 months use. As someone else mentioned, the switch is nearly impossible to use one-handed. Very poorly designed switch.

I used my friend's dryer on a trip and fell in love with it. Bought one myself and the price is great too.

this hair dryer is alright. the only thing i don't like about it is how hard the switch is to use. i have to hold it against my body and use my shirt to turn it off because my thumb slides right off it.
