Tried the Black and Decker. Didn't work. Got the Riddex Plus and we see fewer spiders and no mice. That says a lot for an old farm house.

i was really hesitant in buying after reading reviews on other sites but did so anyway. plugged it in at 11 am ,its like 9:00 pm now and there should be all sorts of roaches running around in the kitchen and i only found 3 after lifting everything up, it was high stepping like when you use the powder, so apparently its doing something,and a mouse or two sure did have a unpleasant afternoon i reckon buy the sounds they were making, the moths and mayflies are no longer a bother also i noticed

My son gave me one he used back east, numerous flying insects in the bathroom and kitchen, now gone. Will buy another one for the basement and upstairs living room.

We used it for a minor mouse problem. They became disoriented, so for the first few days it seemed like we saw more of them, because they were coming out when people were around, being less cautious. After the 5th day, we didn't see them again. Highly recommended!

We purchased this two or three years ago during a severe rodent outbreak - rats as well as mice - in our cabin in the woods. I had tried the "ultrasonic" repellers from Black and Decker, traps, etc, and nothing worked. This was my last try - and in just a very short time, maybe a week or two, the rodents disappeared and have not returned. Cannot recommend it enough for rodents.
