Pros: great hold nice sheen easy to use.

I bought this for my Husband. He has tried all types of new hair gels and new brands. He was usually disappointed with most of the new products. When he tried the Royal Crown Pomade he was instantly hooked. He loves the hold, the shine and the ease of use.

Pros: add a pro

This product is very good for my hair. It gives my hair shine and it makes it soft and manageable. I only need to use a little. The product lasts a long time.

Pros: never flakes out, great shine without stickiness, no helmet build up

Cons: my local walgreen's hasn't yet opened

While not a true Rockabilly cat, I do like a traditional part with a sweep in front and wear pomade daily. This stuff is the best fit for me, as I ride a motorcycle and wear a helmet and it doesn't create nasty build up in my skid lid like some other products of similar vintage. Keeps my hair soft and manageable, comb through the day as needed with a wet Ace fine tooth. Now I'm just waiting for the local Walgreen's store Grand Opening so I can buy it locally! See you on the road...

I have natural African-American hair (4a, 4b for me). This stuff is extremely dense, and there's plenty of it in each jar. I get a little bit in my palms, mix it with water, and distribute evenly if my hair isn't dry. If your hair is extremely thirsty then you don't have to dilute it for yourself. My dad even said he used to use this stuff. I love it. I've tried fancy products that claim to add moisture and products that are very expensive but end up as door stoppers in my room. This product actually works. It could of course get greasy if you add too much. Remember that a little goes a long way. I love Walgreens!!!
