Do not bit or chew.  For severe dry mouth start with a sip of water.  Allow lozenges to slowly dissolve in the mouth.  Occasionally move it around-does not need to stay in one place.  If the lozenge breaks apart, it's okay to chew, swallow or discard the remainder.
