I used this on my sideburns and upper lip and it worked really well it was like they were never there. I had really dark side burns and upper lip hair and waxing makes my face breakout as the hairs grows back in and this a nice alternitive and cheaper.

Don't count on using the same box more than once. As others have mentioned, the activating powder dries out quickly, even when closing the container as tightly as possible and not storing it in the bathroom (I thought humidity might be to blame the first time this happened). The only reason I keep buying these is because I haven't seen other brands. They must count on it being just cheap enough that people will continue to buy them, use once or twice, and then throw out the rest. I've tried contacting the company through their site, was promised a coupon, and it was never delivered.

I've used this product for years and really liked it. I only need it about once a month so it sits (tightly closed) in a bottom cabinet drawer. With the last three packages I purchased the powder shrunk to a tiny hard lump and had to be tossed out. Someone else commented about that. I'd give this a higher rating but I'm wasting money on repurchasing it. Might try another brand to see if this is common—or a problem with this brand.

I've bought this product about 4 times. I have to keep re-buying it not because the product ran out, but because the powder dried out, or the cream turns to a funky color. This cream smell reallly reaally awful; you may not mind the first two applications, but after the product sits there for 2-3 weeks it start smelling really bad. It also gets super irritating and itchy 1 minute in to the application. I'm not sure if I would buy another box just because you can breath the fumes of the cream right under your nose. ( imagine smelling nail polish right under your nose for 8 mins)
PLUS the hair grows back again in a few weeks and you'll want to bleach it again but the ones you bleached last time will look shiny

I use this product and have also experienced the burning, stinging, and itchiness that others have reported. You can easily eliminate most of those effects by applying a thin coating of Balmex both prior to and after use. Just make sure you wash all the bleach off before you reapply the Balmex. I have also used ice prior to application, but the Balmex works much better...and you only need a tiny amount.

I just used this for my eyebrows and i'm really happy with the resuIts. I hated my dark, jet black eyebrows and wanted to lightened them. I carefully put this on for about 6 minutes to get a nice brown shade. i also applied it on my cheeks in the area near my ears to get rid of the dark little hairs and those turned completely blond and can't even be seen anymore. While I had the mixture on it did burn for the first 3 minutes or so but nothing you can't be handled. afterwards comes the itchiness but again, nothing that you can't handle for a few minutes.
The spatula doesn't fit easily into the powder vial but who cares..just dip some out carefully onto the spatula. I loved that the mixture didn't smell either, yay! Two thumbs up!
