I opened the box when I got home and this is why I was insulted and ticked: 1. The wax was only half filled. 2. Although on the picture it shows the cup to have a handle; it does not have a handle! Rated 1 out of 5 by kkmt Terrible Product! This wax bruised me really badly. I have been waxing with surgi brazilian wax for years and [...] stopped carrying it. So, I went with the Sally Hanson. Upon the first strip I removed, it was very painful and left a large black and blue mark on my skin. I immediately threw the product away and ordered surgi wax online. I will never use Sally Hanson products again! January 25, 2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by Waxy lady Good bargain I would recommend two things when using this wax: (1) make sure the wax is easily spreadable when applying to skin otherwise it will not go on evenly and will harden too quickly, making it very difficult to remove (of course don't burn yourself with hot wax either!); (2) peel off the wax immediately after applying because once it hardens removal may cause bleeding (I remove any hardened wax with the oil). This product requires a litte practice to get the hang of things, but once it works it really does the job. I have used other waxes and this one has worked the best for me. January 23, 2010

Let's start off with the cons: Bleeding (occasionally I'll pull some skin off with the hair not much blood though) Messy/Stringy (when you dip the stick in the wax an scoop some up, it is stringy and when you put it on you'll have little strings of wax, each as big as a strand of hair. Also if you spread it too thin it can dry fast and get flaky and you're left picking at it for awhile) Need to Reheat often (especially towards the end when you don't have much left) Now the pros: Easy to use/Simple (just put it on then rip it off) Good value (not too expensive) Pleasant Scent (floral herbal scent is nice) Smooth/Amazing results (takes off every single hair! Amazing!) It is great on my armpits. It is the only wax I use on them too. But I also use it for doing a Brazilian-type wax down there. When you rip it off it amazes me how much hair it pulls off! The skin is left smooth and hair free. I have never been to a salon and never will go. This stuff is the best, hands down of all the Sally Hansen waxes. It's a disappointment that the store I usually go to stopped selling this product and now I have to get it online. This wax is really the only way to go if you want to get rid of unwanted hair (unless you like shaving or laser hair removal). January 1, 2010

This is an extra strong glue not anything else, it will get stick anywhere especially your skin, oh gush, i had to use Aceton to get rid of it, it took 3 hours and my skin got injured (i am serious) and after a week i still need more Aceton to clean my bathroom. I am not a beginner to waxing but i bought this brand for the first time. Thanks my lock that i had Aceton at home otherwise it was impossible to go out and get some. Trust me, it is not good at all!! August 25, 2009
