I used to bite my nails and I finally stopped but I couldn't get my nails to grow very long before they'd break or chip or split. I tried a few different things and then I found this by Sally Hansen and it worked stunningly!! It's sort of like a really thick nail polish that doesn't chip off. Using this, I was able to grow my nails longer than my sister (who has never chewed her nails in her life!) ever has and I've gotten tons of compliments on my nails too!! What I've found works best is to put a coat of this on and then, in about a week, put another layer on top of it and keep doing this until you decide you want to remove it all (which, with all the layers, takes some time). I've probably gone through 3 or 4 bottles of this stuff and now I'm able to grow my nails fine without using it. I've recommended it to everyone I know who is trying to grow their nails out. The only possibly down side is that, with all the layers, it sometimes gives your nails a tiny bit of an orange tint... but if you put some nail polish on it (or in between one of the layers) the orange tint isn't noticeable at all (and it may not be noticeable to other people... just me. =) This is an awesome product. The best one out there, in my opinion!! Try it!!!

This really does get down to the problem area on your fingers. I had gotten my nails done and the acrylic completely tore them apart so I decided to try everything I could to repair them and grow. I tried this and within 3days my nails were better than ever! The only issue is that you have to use it consistently. I would do it at night about an hour before bed. I would clean off my nails of any polish or lotion and massage this oil-like product onto my nail surface and cuticles. It pretty much repairs your cuticles too. Use it on a regular basis and it will work wonders for you too. (my nails are always breaking and dry because of constant hand washing) It improves the overall health of the skin around the nail and leaves your nails extremely smooth. As for the growing, yes it does help. Not so sure if its actually MAKING your nail grow with any sort of special ingredient, I assume because of the overall advantages of the product(like the repairing of the cuticle and the skin around your nails and also the smoothing of the nail) help you manage your nails to keep them from being so "worn out" looking. I will say though with daily use for 4 days (i used it 2x a day) my nails were much longer and healthier.

Well I tried this at first and I was very skeptical but I started noticing results in about an hour or two (which is good). Especially since am a frequent nail biter... I don't know why but i have not been biting my nails at all. It gives my nails a healthy dose of vitamins and does wonders for my cuticles. But I feel as if it stops working after a while. But it keeps my nails very healthy and I am very pleased with this product.
