Pros: They work

I purchased these sheets for a new scar and after the first week I noticed a difference. Now after approximately 8 weeks, the scar is almost completely faded. Given the great results I decided to try it on an old surgery scar and after 2 weeks the scar which was dark and raised, has flattened and become lighter. These sheets have been a God send! I am eager to try them on several of my other older scars. To those that have complained of the sheets adhering or staying put poorly, I'd suggest you secure them with a band-aid or medical tape because they really work and given the body's surfaces are not entirely flat and you do move while you have them on, sometimes they may move or roll especially after you've reused them several times. Washing them does increase adhesion but securing them with medical tape or band-aids has been a very effective way for me to get the full benefits of this product and watch my scars fade before my eyes. I'd also encourage you to try the name brand first, as sometimes the generic brands are not as high quality and may not produce expected results especially in comparison to the brand product.

I used the sheets after my wrist sugery, and they are very effective. They do what they say they're supposed to do, and there's no messy residue to get on anything like what happens with the ointment. Highly recommended and very affordable.

Cons: Ineffective, Comes off easily

This product did not work!! I been using it for weeks on this long scar I have on my thigh and it looks as if the scar sheet had no effect on getting rid of the scar at all. I also used another sheet on a scar near my ankle and it does not stick well!! It kept coming off that I lost it by the 2nd day of use. You have the watch out for the sheets bubbling up or rolling off!! WASTE of money!!!

Scar away helped flatten my scar post surgery, although it's a little pricey if you use it as instructed you will see great results. I highly recommend this product.

Cons: Doesn't Stay On

I got the Wal-Greens brand of these and what a waste of money. They don't stay on at all, and didn't do anything to reduce the appearance of my scars. I bought the ScarAway brand name ones and lets hope these stay on other wise I want my money back!

Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, High Quality

I have made several purchases of ScarAway brand silicone sheeting products. The quality is top notch as they come direct from the medical field, and the results I have achieved with use of this brand of silicone sheet are better than any other. These are the professional grade silicone sheet. The sheets are soft, pliable and comfortable. They are easy to use and the instructions were clear and concise. (I have actuallly received othe scar sheets without any instruction whatsoever), so I am pleased these are so clear and complete. Scar creams have been of no help to me over the years, despite my religious application. I am glad to have found an effective product to help me reduce my scarring. I am using these strips regularly both on my older scars and to manage the scar from new and upcoming procedures. Thank you for the opportunity to review ScarAway brand silicone strips.
