Due to budget reasons, I switched to a cheaper razor and I'm really sorry I did. I decided to come back to Schick and what a difference! My legs are not only much smoother, but there are fewer cuts and ingrown hairs. I too have coarse hair and darker skin that is prone to dark marks caused by irritation. I don't have this problem with Schick. This is one item I've gotta stick with no matter the cost. It's totally worth it in the long run.

So, I read all the great reviews, and believed this was the must have product. But NO, it was not, I was previously using Venus, and decided to get this item instead bad idea. Its not super bad, its just not better than then Venus. The Venus is much better. I was just let down because of all the great reviews. The grip is also not that good. Disposable razor blades do a better job than this.

I have very coarse hair that a smooth shave usually only lasts half a day. With this i manage to get a full day of smoothness. Pick up this razor.. it kicks venus's butt. It leaves legs smooth and not at all dry. My only problem is that when i'm in a hurry it doesn't save completely smooth but that's my own fault really. Even dragging the razor up my leg at weird angles and haphazardly i still haven't gotten nicks and def. not cuts. Just buy it. Oh and replacement blades are some of the cheapest out there as well. ( If you take your razor out of the shower and wipe off the blade after use one head lasts you a VERY long time !)

This razor left my legs silky smooth with no nicks or irritation. Easy to hold and shaved the hard areas such as the knees better than any razor I have used in the past.
