This product is a MUST for 4a/4b hair

I had recently gone natural once again after a few years of relaxing my hair. I have a good mix of 4a hair with this thick patch of 4b in my crown. My hair soaks up moisture products and is super awesome when wet, but as soon as it would dry, later on the in the day no matter what "moisturizing" products I've used, it would still get SUPER DRY and especially brittle in the crown. I noticed some breakage as well in that area, simply because of the lack of moisture. After doing a little research, I came across this product which had rave reviews, and come to find out my best friend uses the product as well. So without hesitation, I headed over to the store to pick some up. I ended up buying this product, the coconut/hibiscus moisture mist, and the raw shea deep conditioner. I RUSHED home to get to work on this hair. First thing was the DC. OMG my hair felt so rejuvenated after, the conditioner delivered the kind of treatment my hair really needed. My 4a spirals popped immediately, and my 4b was noticeably softer. After rinsing that out, I applied the curl enhancing smoothie. If you put too much on it will be all white in your hair, although the curls will pop. All you have to do is go a little lighter with the product, and you can use a warm blow dryer on low to really get the product into the hair. However, I didn't need to do that, I simply let it air dry, and the cream will blend in just fine. Can I tell you how AMAZING my hair was... ALL DAY LONG! So soft, so moisturized, so just... AMAZING! I'm was SO happy about this product. This has been the only thing that's worked for me, and I've tried LOTS of products supposedly good for curly and/or natural hair. The ingredients are all natural, and I think that makes the biggest difference in the world. Well today is 24 hours later, and I woke up to much more moisturized hair than I have in the past. I spritzed on the moisture mist (a MUST have to wake up your tresses), and applied a little more curl enhancer. Without even having to co-wash my hair it's back to the same fabulousness it was even after the wash/DC/go style. Therefore my mornings will be quicker not having to go through cowashing my hair daily! This is the BEST product ever. It's a must must MUST for natural girls, especially those with Type 4 who CRAVE moisture!

This product is amazing, my hair is super soft, my natural curls and twist out were so defined after using for the first time. Thank you Shea Moisture for such a great product. I also had fast shipment and my merchandise was packaged well, Thanks Walgreen I wll order again.

Finally, Natural Hair Products that Works!

I just purchased this Shea moisture enhancing smoothie. I have natural hair that is very dry and kinky. I finally found a product that makes my hair very soft, moisturize my hair without being greasy. I have tried a lot of different products, even Carol's daughter and I like this smoothie better than her line. I have not tried the Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner yet, but I will be purchasing it next. I did try the Shea moisture curl & style milk and I like it a lot also. Finally, natural hair products that really work for me!

Cons: not enough product for thick curly hair, a bit pricey for a small container of product, doesn't do all of which it claims

I bought this product two days ago, I finally used it last night so I could give a full review in the morning. I like this because it is all natural ingredients so I will continue to use it. My hair did feel moisturized but I feel as if you don't need this and the hair lotion. They both do the same thing and the only difference is a few and I do mean a few ingredients. And of course the textures of the products. I do like the smell of this and how a little goes a long way. What I do not like is... this claims to be aimed towards people with thick curly hair, If so there should be more product. A person with thick curly hair would run through this quickly. I also don't like how it makes my hair hard when air drying or how it did not detangle.

Pros: Defines curls, Great hold

Cons: makes hair hard after it dries

It's great for someone who wants extra hold. I don't need it. It really defined my curls but my hair was hard after it dried but not as hard as with other products I have used. I am going to add some oils to it and hopefully that works. I don't think I would buy this again but I would recommend it because it may work great for others.
