I've been using this product for 12 years or more on my relaxed hair and it's better than any other product I've used. My beautician, naturally, recomments her choice of expensive products, but nothing beats StaSofFro Rub On Hair & Scalp Conditioner. Just a quarter size squeeze in the hand is enough. I also use the Hair & Scalp Spray which is a comb out conditioner but it's not as good. I think it has too much water in it. So I'm sticking with this product and would recommend it to anyone with relaxed or natural hair.

I have been using this product for over 10 years. This is the only product on the market that keeps my hair soft and manageable without any greasy or waxy buildup. The packaging could use some improvements to prevent the excess flow conditioner around the top. The current packaging is great for individual/travel; however, Softy Sheen may want to consider marketing a family size container with a pumping action so that the product can be placed and dispense with other family sized products, i.e. lotion. My overall rating for this product is 4.5 and only a .5 deduction for the somewhat continuous flow top.

I really like this moisturizer. I got tired of ordering products online, and I decided to give this a try since it was inexpensive. It really softens my dry afro without weighing it down. I like that there is no oily build-up-just as this product claims. I like the creamy consistency, and a little goes a long way.
I use it by first spraying my hair lightly with water, and then applying a pea-sized amount to each section of my hair (I separate my hair into four sections). Then I style. No more, no less.
There are only two things I don't like about this product:
1. The packaging is a little annoying when you are continually applying it. Because it comes in a tube, you have to lie it down flat so that the product doesn't drip. You should also keep in mind that if you don't first turn the tube upside down so that the product shifts to the bottom of the tube, the pressure will cause it to come out when you lie it down (and this is especially if it is a new tube).
2. The fragrance it very strong. It doesn't smell bad, but I think Soft Sheen Carson (the makers of this product) could tone it down quite a bit.
Other than those two things, I give this product 4 stars. I will definitely be looking into the spray for keeping my styles fresh and moisturized.

I'VE BEEN USING STA-SOF-FRO FOR OVER 2 YEARS AND IT'S A KEEPER!!!!!!! I'M AN AFRICAN AMERICAN WITH DRY, NAPPY HAIR AND I NEVER THOUGHT MY HAIR COULD BE SO SOFT. I JUST APPLY A SMALL AMOUNT AND IT COMPLETELY MOISTURIZES AND SOFTENS MY HAIR. I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT
