been using this for years just ordered bottle feb 11, 2011. wonderful fragrance is gone and doesn't feel the same on my hair. contacted company said there has been slight change in formula. should be noted on front of bottle re formula change. will not buy again. also use jam by softsheen doesn't work as well as it has in the past either

I really must say that this product really does moisturize my fro. A little goes a long ways, it is very soft and not greasy, but I did notice my fingers were sticky after massaging my hair. I will not buy this product again, because of the smell..do not like the way it smells. If it wasn't for the strong scent, I would love this product.

I really like this product. You get a lot for a litle. I use this as a leave-in conditioner, and also a moisturizing refresher. It works great at keeping my nappy hair moisturized throughout the week without having to apply additional moisturizers. I love that I can get the goodness of the cream in spray form. Excellent product.
The only thing I don't like about it is the fragrance. Another reviewer said that they've been using this product since the 70s. Well, I think Sta Sof Fro has had the same fragrance since that date. However, it does fade. I just wish they would tone it down a bit. That's the only reason I took off one star. Other than that, stellar product. I highly recommend both this and the cream (the one in the tube).

I searched high and low for THIS product. I tried a couple in between but they only dried my hair out more. I plan to buy as many bottles as I can get my hands on now that I know my local stores no longer carry it and I had a hard time finding it on-line as well. :(

I had experimented with dozens and dozens of products over the years in an effort to find something to maintain moisture and soften my course, dry hair in a natural/chemical-free state. I was beginning to belive that such a product did not exist because other products didn't really live up to their claims. Finally, I tried Sta-Sof-Fro Hair and Scalp Spray, and it really works for my hair. I can now wear my hair in a natural and maintain moisture without heavy build-up. It has a pleasant smell and keeps my hair soft and manageable. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to wear their hair natural. I have experienced much less breakage since starting to use this product. It has worked wonders for my hair. I now have healthy hair that looks great!

I am white and have very kinky hair. Especially in the summer and high humidity days. I bleach my hair and my hair is very dry. I have been using this spray for about a year and its made my hair wonderful. It takes out the kink and my hair looks "normal", with just a pleasant wave. It smells great too. I am no longer a 'brillo head".
It takes about 3 days of use on my hair to achieve the best texture. Great stuff at a reasonable price.
