This handle is working great on my new and bigger La-z-boy. I've never had trouble getting the footrest up on a recliner before, but this new one was just too tough. The store and La-z-boy said too bad. This Stander extender works great and was easy to install. It is really unattractive but definitely does the job and the u-shaped form makes it easy to grip and pull. I'm glad I got it.

IT DOESN'T HELP ME TO CLOSE MY RECLINER,I'M STILL STRUGGLING AND ACTUALLY HAVE TO USE BOTH HANDS TO CLOSE IT NOW. MY HANDS ARE TOO WEAK.

I ordered this because I could not reach over the handle to let the leg rest come up. Or go down. I love it for pulling it up, but still have a problem reaching for it to let the rest down. My chair handle goes all the way down and though it is some better wish the handle could have been bigger so I could reach it better.

My recliner lever was difficult to pull. It caused arm and shoulder pain and even caused an ear infection on that side. I was at my wits end. Then I found this lever extender. It's still hard to pull, but it's much, much easier to grasp and it does indeed take pressure off these spots. Shipping was very fast. and I'd recommend it to anyone. Great buy!

I was surprised at how well made this handle extender is. I like the fact that the four bolts are adjustable to fit the existing handle size and you can place it up/down on the existing handle. The grip of the handle is an appropriate size and it has a sandpaper type feel that keeps your hand from slipping. I think all recliners should have this type of handle to begin with and frankly don't understand why the don't, although I do have one chair that doesn't seem to have a recliner arm issue, but it's a smaller recliner. I'm using this on the recliner that has a leg lift that is more difficult to raise.

Definitely a help with those awkward recliner levers. Installed them on all 4 of our entertainment viewing chairs after trying 1. Don't need nearly as much hand strength & shoulder muscles to recline the chair. Easy installation.
