The bed rail is well made. The powder coating is good and there are no rough welds or sharp edges. It is easy to assemble the instruction sheet takes you through the process step by step and no additional tools are required. There are only two things that could use improvement or changing: 1) A strap to allow the rail to be easily pulled up into position while the user is lying in the bed.should be added. 2) The pocket cover is useless if you fold the rail into the down position it dumps all the contents on the floor. Adding elastic bands or a Velcro type closure would help.

The bed rail adequately serves the purpose for which it was purchased, am somewhat disappointed, upon close inspection, of the quality of construction, rather rough fit.

good value; does the job; difficult to install - requires two people: one strong person to lift a heavy matress, and another to run strap under mattress. It does not drop to the floor when the box spring is a low rise type.

This product was exactly what we needed to keep my mother from falling out of bed. The price was lower than most other home care companies. The bed rail arrived in exactly four business days. This took about 5 minutes to order on Walgreens internet site, very easy. We were very pleased and will order more items in the future.

I purchased this rail for my elderly father who was literally falling every night. My mom wasn't sleeping trying to hold him onto the bed. Now they are both sleeping and the rail catches dad every night. Needless to say, I too, am sleeping much better.

I bought this for my 97 year old father. He lives independently but needed something to help him pull himself up out of the bed easier. It also gives him (and me) the security that he won't fall out of bed. It works perfectly for him. It was fairly easy to assemble except the directions neglected to tell you that you need to insert one of the rods into a tube on the rail.
