Rated 4 out of 5Â by phinolarayjones Excellant for tall and or heavy folks
I'm 6'4 400 lbs. Great for big and or tall people. Nothing like it on the market. Suggest buying some semi permanent thread seal (lock tight thread seal) for handle bolt if you use a lot. Check that handles are tight frequently. I am going to use for walking excercise as it allows me to walk with artritic knees to get some arobic exercise. Absorbs enough of shock that I feel 100 lbs. lighter which is why I want to use it for arobic walking. If they continue to evolve they will be perfect for arobic exercise for large folks who want to lose weight. If your looking for perfect don't get these but if your looking for a true alternative to the standard last century crutches than go with Milennail. As far as I'm concerned I have use the standard and these and these are far superior to the standard crutches and much cheaper.

I had none of the problems people have listed when I used these crutches after a total knee replacement. These were the safest, steadiest crutches I've ever used and I won't ever use any other kind again. The part that goes under the arm never gets near the armpit so there is no discomfort there. You actually support yourself with the very comfortable ergonomic hand grips that relieve any stress usually associate with long-term crutch use. The spring-loaded tip makes walking so easy and without all of the jarring of regular crutches. Buy these without hesitation!

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Sooz Good Idea, but...
I have a damaged knee, and use crutches if I have to walk for any distance because my knee buckles unexpectedly. I loved the idea of these - no sharp angles, foldable, spring action to make use less fatiguing. However, no matter how tightly the handgrip is attached to the crutch, it loosens. It may be a threading issue, but both crutches have the same defect. I find the spring action to be disconcerting, mostly because it doesn't always operate smoothly, and seems to "jerk". Although I think the design is a good idea, because of the issues I've found in the design application, I only use them for times when space is a factor and I need the folding feature.
