A passion for all things Italian-including good food and great coffee-inspired this full-bodied blend of Latin American and Asia/Pacific coffees, with Italian Roast (a dark roast blend) added for depth. It's rich and well-balanced with a dark cocoa texture and a roasty sweetness, like the flavor of a fire-roasted marshmallow after you pull off the darkened cap.

Blending Coffees from Different Regions.
We blend coffees with a flavor in mind, the way a chef pulls together spices and ingredients to create a new recipe. Coffees from Latin America, Asia/Pacific and Africa/Arabia all have unique characteristics that harmonize in intriguing, surprising ways. We stop blending only when we've found that elusive taste-a balanced cup with complexity and layers of flavors not found in a single-origin coffee.

Each coffee requires slightly different amounts of time and temperature during the roasting process to create a cup at its peak of aroma, acidity, body and flavor. We classify our coffees in three roast profiles so you can easily find your desired flavor and intensity.

Freshly roasted and packed. 100% Arabica Coffee.
Recipe for Great Coffee: Use cold, filtered water and a clean machine. Grind beans just before brewing. Coarse for coffee press. Medium for automatic drip. Measure 2 Tbsp (10g) ground coffee for every 6fl oz (180ml) water. Storage Philosophy 101: To preserve that fresh, just-roasted flavor, keep this bag sealed tight in a cabinet (not the refrigerator) and brew within a week of opening.
