Colombia. Venturing to coffee farms 6,500 feet up treacherous dirt roads-with a sheer mountain wall to your right and the cliff dropping off to your left-is a little hairy. But highly worth it. This coffee is as distinctive as the Colombian countryside, with a wonderful round body, juicy feel and a signature nutty flavor in the finish.

The Flavor of latin American Coffees: In Latin America, hundreds of years of coffee tradition have passed along the ritual of washing coffee beans free of their sticky, protective "honey." This washing process imprints all of the coffee grown there with a crisp flavor and palate-cleansing acidity.

Recipe for Great Coffee:
Use cold, filtered water and a clean machine. Grind beans just before brewing. Coarse for coffee press. Medium for automatic drip. Measure 2 Tbsp (10g) ground coffee for every 6fl oz (180ml) water
Storage Philosophy 101:
To preserve that fresh, just-roasted flavor, keep this bag sealed tight in a cabinet (not the refrigerator) and brew within a week of opening.
