The unit can be left safely unattended or whilst you sleep, as it works without the use of heat or a naked flame.  Instead, a steam of air diffuses the oils, releasing an immediate and pure fragrance.

Ensure unit is disconnected from mains supply before fitting diffusing cartridge.  Remove cartridge from bag and apply oil.  Grip cartridge by the main rib on underside and insert into base or aroma-stream, turning clockwise until cartridge locks into position.  Place aroma-stream on a surface that does not obstruct airflow, connect to mains supply and switch on.  Add 6-10 drops of pure essential oil, or a blend of essential oils, to the cartridge.  When a change of fragrance is required, simply run the aroma-stream until the existing aroma is spent, then apply another oil.  Alternatively, use a separate cartridge.  When not in use, the cartridge should ideally be stored in a self-seal plastic bag, marked with the fragrance type.
