I purchased this in an online order, as I wanted to get away from using aluminum based products. "Calendula" sounded floral to me, but in using it, I found the fragrance to be pungent and unpleasant, even in the container. This may just be a personal preference or aversion, but I don't believe I would have bought it if I had been able to take a whiff of it in the store. I like other Tom's products, though, and think it's a fine company.

I have an allergy to aluminum and therefore can only use deodorant that is without it. However, usually I perspire really easily. With Tom's my skin doesn't get irritated nor do I perspire excessively. However, it doesn't quite protect against an odor. It isn't horrible, but if that really bothers you, I don't recommend it.

Safe, no aluminum. Felt confident to give to grandaughter with sensitive skin and for myself-same reason. Chose Calendula because it is a flower known for healing.

This made me and everyone I know smell worse than normal. It is a terrible product. Kiss My Face Liquid Rock works very well.

I was skeptical that this would work well, but my sister-in-law who is a nurse said that typical deoderants/anti-perspirants contained harmful ingredients, so I wanted to make a switch. I just love this product, great scent, and it lasts! No more stinky at the end of the day.

I love this deodorant. It works well for me, but I am not a very sweaty person and my body odor is not very strong. I'm not sure how well it would work for someone else. It goes on kind of wet, so I'd give it time to dry before putting your shirt on. The smell stays pleasant all day, even when it mixes with your body odor. It comes in a variety of scents, so you can find the one that works best for you. I like the calendulla best. I didn't like the way the lavender smelled after a few hours. But, the bottom line is, regular deodorants and anti-perspirants have toxic chemicals like aluminum that have been linked to breast cancer and MS. I'd rather stink to high heaven than risk it!
