This is truely the best umbrella i have ever owned!Cane length with a 67" double canopy,this umbrella can handle the windiest and wettest conditions.Truely amazing to me.And if on the rare occassion the umbrella does invert,the ribs are made of fiber glass and designed in a way that the umbrella will invert without damage. This truely delux umbrella I have used in a number of ways.Not only can it be used as your standard umbrella,but it can also be used as a shield against the driving rain and wind.Hard winds blowing from wst to east,driving rain blowing with the wind sideways rather than straight down,this umbrella i have used as a shield against these hard conditionsThe large canopy will stand up to winds gusting up to 45 miles per hour(maybe more,i dont know)and block the rain and wind as one holds it out in front of them as a shield.I have used it to block the blaring,hot sun.Again,the large 67" canopy offerrs much shade.And i know of someone who needed to use this umbrella as a sort of "pit bull poker".With his back up against a parked car,he fended off the 2 vicious animals with his Store Beater Golf umbrella until the police arrived and put down both dogs as the dogs charged the officers.True story. I dont write reviews or blogs.I dont have the time...but this is such a great product that impressed me sooo much,i am writing my 1st review of a product today. DONT BE SUCKERED into buying an umbrella listed as a Tote's Golf umrella!These "Tote's Golf Umbrellas are NOT the same umbrella as the Tote's Storm Beater Golf umbrella.Only the Storm Beater brand has the 67" canopy. The only problem i have found with this umbrella is finding one in a specific color.Off the Walgreens web site,you can't specify a color and you get whatever color they send you.And the Walgeens stores are often out of them.It took me 3 weeks to find a replacement that was a solid black in color.I actually did find 1 in a city 77 miles away-(no,i didnt drive that far to get 1.That Walgreens ups'ed it to a store in my city for me). Only found at Walgreens,this umbrella cant be out matched in quality,and the price is the best.Other brand umbrellas from London Fog and other comparible companys have umbrellas just like the Storm Beater for [$].And even the Storm Beater imitators(listed as Tot'e Golf Umbrellas)charge more than Walgreens does for the real Mc Coy.

This umbrella is excellent. Some people may dislike it due to its size, but this is where it shines. When folded up (both umbrella sections must fold up individually, and getting them flat takes a couple minutes) it is roughly the size of a cane. When unleashed, however, this is a full golf-size umbrella. It is large enough to easily accommodate a second person, or even in high winds can keep the rain off of everything but your feet. It automatically opens, so you can slip it out your car door, and open it to block the rain from the entire side of your car.
The only disadvantage is during wintery times when the wind is very cutting and cold. Held properly, the wind slides through the vent section and so offers no protection to it. However, I have personally tested it up to roughly 45mph winds and they do hold up as advertised!
Expect at least one of the prongs to untie from the spokes, however, which can be a pain to fold back up. Even then however, the umbrella looks and works the same.
