To help prevent new scars, apply a thin layer onto affected area at least 3 to 4 times a day until healed. A bandage may be used, if desired, but is not necessary. To help minimize & improve the appearance of an existing scar, apply as often as possible to keep the area continually covered with gel to help break down scar tissue.
