Make Ice Cream Anywhere
With the unique YayLabs! Ice Cream Ball™, you can make ice cream while on camping trips, at picnics, barbecues and many other places. You don't need electricity to make great tasting ice cream, but rather just add ice and rock salt in one end and ice cream mix in the other end. Then, have a ball as you shake it, pass it, or roll it around for 20 minutes. The ice cream mix can be as simple as cream, sugar, and vanilla or you can try a more adventurous flavor from the included recipe list, use Flavor Fountain flavorings, or make up your own concoction. Made of durable, advanced materials, the Ice Cream Ball is lightweight, portable, and easy to clean.

Add ice and rock salt remove the lid for the outer chamber and fill with as much ice as possible. Then add 1/2 cup of rock salt and close the lid securely, by hand - don't use the plastic wrench to tighten the lid or you won't be able to open it again! Mix up the ingredients in a separate container. Remove the lid from the metal cylinder and pour the mixture into the cylinder, leaving about an inch at the top for expansion. Again, close the lid securely by hand - don't use that wrench! Shake it up, roll, or pass the Ice Cream Ball around as you mix and freeze the ingredients. This is a perfect time for kids to sing songs, tell jokes, or come up with some fun games while shaking and passing the ball around. After 10 minutes, open the ice cream end (this is where that plastic wrench comes in handy). Scrape the freezing ice cream off the sides of the cylinder with a large plastic or wooden spoon (don't use a metal spoon as it will scratch the cylinder) and mix with the more liquid ice cream. Close the lid securely, by hand! Check the outer chamber and add more ice and up to 1/4 cup of additional rock salt, if needed. Close the lid securely, by hand! Shake, pass, or roll for 10 more minutes (the longer you play, the firmer your ice cream will be). Open and you're ready to enjoy about a pint of delicious, soft-serve ice cream. Consistency will vary based on the ice, ingredients, outside temperature, shaking frequency, etc. Once you've achieved the consistency you want, use a plastic or wooden scoop to gently scoop out your ice cream. Then it's time to enjoy with your favorite toppings! Important tips for using your Ice Cream Ball: Directions and recipes are inside the Ball. Only use plastic wrench to open the lids (turn counter-clockwise on handle). Do not use plastic wrench to tighten the lids! Use cream instead of half & half for richer tasting ice cream. Leave about an inch of space for expansion when you fill up the can with the ice cream mix. After 10 minutes of mixing (shaking, rolling, and passing), it is important to stir the ice cream mix (it freezes more around the edges of the can) with a plastic or wooden spoon. Also, check and add more ice and rock salt if needed. Have fun for another 10 to 15 minutes and you're done.
